- Anyone can do it
- Being greedy isn’t a recipe for success
- Some people need a little help getting it started
- You feel better once it’s done
- The possibilities are limitless
- Your’s is different than everyone else’s
- Helps if you write down all the things you want
- If you can’t stop being naughty, you probably shouldn’t even bother
- Once you’ve done it, you have to continue being good
- Sometimes you feel like it’s going nowhere
- Just saying what you want doesn’t mean you’re going to get it
- You really need to be good, not just say you’ve been good
- It’s harder to do when you get older
- You really should leave out cookies
- It doesn’t work if you don’t believe

The possibilities are limitless... Loved that Jack!!! They are. At 52, I just took my first kickboxing class. Yes, it gets harder as I get older but I am not giving up!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to write a Christmas letter to me telling me what I want for next year and then make it happen. That's right, I'm my own Santa. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting so close to Onederland. I have complete confidence that you will be there soon. You have done amazingly well. You have the determination.
LOVE the last one......
ReplyDelete"It doesn’t work if you don’t believe"
ReplyDeleteThis is the thing that I always keep in mind. Nice analogy Jack!

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't work if you don't believe.
ReplyDeleteLe sigh.
I BELIEVE!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Do I *really* have to stop being naughty though?? Maybe you better explain that :)
ReplyDeleteleaving out cookies is my favorite =D.
ReplyDeleteleave out the cookies.....:( Must come up with some fat free yummy ones...and Santa still gets some right, or is he watching it this year too?
ReplyDelete"Just saying you want it doesn't mean you'll get it" ----Oh how true! I feel as though I should post this next to my treadmill....
ReplyDeleteHi Jack. Errr, did you mix this post up with the one entitled "Ways weight loss is like having sex"?
ReplyDeleteBearfriend xx
Definitely leave out the cookies. Definitely!
ReplyDeleteThe last one....that's the best. So true. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, the last one is so true. This time of year I feel like all my patients just need to believe that it can be different and that they can do it.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't work if you don't believe...
ReplyDeletevery true..
and many times you have to do it and see the results to start believing...
I have been reading your blog for a while now... lurking and today had to share it with my husband! We are working together to get fit and keep the weight off (between the 2 of us we lost one of our kids (the middle one) in weight) Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Hppy New Year!
