Emotion: March games bring weight gains

Like my momma always said: “It’s all fun and games until somebody gets fat.”

I need to make some big changes.

Watch this space…

  1. Your mama is a clever one. Maybe April showers will bring weight lowers.

  2. Hang in there Jack. This journey doesn't have to s**k. May April bring you scale nirvana.

  3. You'll get back on it. I find small changes work better than trying to go for the big ones. The big ones end up being "all or nothing" and nothing usually wins. :-) Love your blog....you'll get there. (me, too!) I've been up and down; started at 320, got down to 229.8, now hovering at 235ish. Let's do it! :-)

  6. Momma probably also said you can't always eat what ya want, not be consistent & not gain.. I know, tough words, but what you are going thru is the main thing that keeps people from maintaining weight loss. Just because it is March madness does not mean everything can go by the sidelines.... we can make plenty of excuses for why we are eating this or that but it comes down to the fact that we just have to be consistent... anything can be a special occasion, ya have to minimize those! ;-)

  7. You did it before and you can do it again, Jack! You've inspired countless other dieters...and karma counts. I'm confident you'll soon rediscover your mojo and be back on track. :)

  8. Jack - do you know what you are eating that is causing you to want to eat more now? I is something you weren't eating during your initial progress period?
