Weigh-in Wednesday… Because “Weigh-in” Starts with “W”

So there I was at the breakfast table, just trying to make friendly conversation with my wife, Anita.

“What the hell is that weird contraption in the bathroom?” I asked.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about?”

“On the floor.”

“Your wet towel?” she guessed. “Your dirty underwear?”

“Under my wet towel and beneath my dirty underwear,” I said. “It’s some kind of weird step-stool, except it’s only a half-inch tall.”

“There’s no step-stool in the bathroom.”

“It’s flashes red numbers when you stand on it. At first I thought it might be showing my weight, but the number was waaaaaaay too high.”

“Oh,” she said. “I’m not 100% positive, but I’m pretty much 100% percent positive that you’re talking the scale.”

“Would it have been completely unreasonable for you to just tell me that was our new extra-low step-stool?”

“Yeah, I think so...”

“Now that I know I weigh more than I thought I did, I’m gonna have to do something about it.”

“Well, good luck with that.”

  2. After I read your post I realized that's the strange contraption sitting in my bathroom. However, I must have a different model than yours because mine doesn't show numbers. So far I weigh "ERR". I checked the roman numerals chart to see my weight, but E and R aren't in there. It must be some sort of secret code, you know, so others won't be able to see your weight. I'm going to check the manual... oh, never mind.
Good job on your results though; keep at it!

  3. I have 2 scales and both are under the fridge. That is where I kicked the first one and couldn't get it out so I was given an even better one and ...No I don't want any coat hanger, broom handle suggestions on how to get that one out either!
