Good News/Bad News

Good news: while in NYC, I weighed myself at the American Museum of Natural History and it turns out that I've lost over 200 lbs. Not sure how that happened, but I'll always take a good weigh-in...

Bad news: think I gained it all back with afternoon "Mad Hatter" tea party with daughter Pisa at Alice's Tea Cup

  8. My digital scale has a little switch on the bottom that lets me see my weight in either pounds or kilos. Kilos is a much nicer number - although switching to kilos has not made my waistbands less snug. I agree that having tea with your daughter is a great idea. I assume you might have had more than just the tea? It looks fabulous, and probably worth it.

  9. That scale is a monster! It seems so sneaky, but what if it was real? A good weigh in is all I want when Christmas is over. Trying to keep it in perspective when there is all that "holiday food." I'll keep an eye on a real scale to keep me honest = )
