Pupside Down

Sorry for the blogging silence of late, but things have been super busy around here.

You ever have those times when Life gives you lemons, but you don't have any of the other ingredients  necessary to make lemonade?

When you've got lots of work to do and your "helpers" aren't all that much help?

Socrates said, "Beware the barrenness of a busy life" but he got to wear a toga around all day so I'm not sure what he has to say is all that relevant in today's world.

Anyway, I'm trying to get back on top of my way-too-busy life and hope to pick up a more regular blogging schedule in the not-too-distant future.

Thanks to everyone who reached out via comments, emails, smoke signals and singing telegrams to make sure I was still in one piece.

Take care of yourself and I'll see ya when I see ya.
(Oh, and by the way, sorry I've had to add some hurdles for commenting, but I'm getting hammered with spam comments; spammers love my blog!)

Oh, and one more thing... PUPPIES!

  4. Jack is back...sort of! I will take it. By the way, if you keep showing those small, furry things I am going to hold you accountable when I break down, get one and my husband leaves me.

  6. Oh how I wish I could borrow a puppy ..or two...or five for a bit. Our old lab died last spring at nearly 15-1/2 and we're anticipating some serious travel, perhaps a stint in the Peace Corps in the next year or two so no new dog here. I am seriously missing having a dog. Good to hear from you and love the puppy pictures! Sorry about the spammers, maybe they'll move on to my email soon! They seem to think I want either to grow two inches or talk to s e x y housewives. Neither appeals to this 60 year old mom.

  15. I love how the amount of puppies increases as you scroll down the pictures. They are super cute and now that I think about it, they could truly add some resistance training to a walking regimen :)

  18. I had to show Mike the picture of you and all the puppies :) Always puppies with you. I keep wondering what's going on with several of us around here and going quiet. Looks like things are just busy for many of us. Hope you get less busy soon. Take care of yourself Jack, miss you when you're not here.

  19. Great blog and who would not find those puppies adorable? You will never be able to resist one of those faces when they want you to take them out for a walk or run :)

  20. Jack just love those pups of yours.
One of the great joys in our life is a dog (or 2). We have 2 German Shepherds who run the place and we could not be happier. My wife just loves them.
Dogs first, husband next (well almost)

Sometimes I think we are all too busy to learn from our pets about the real things that matter. I remember years ago coming across a quote that said "We should be more like our dog and just concentrate on the one thing at a time - like that beaut smell I've just found"

Glad to know you are getting on top of things
