Does This Interview Make Me Sound Fat?

Sean Anderson of The Daily Diary of a Winning Loser interviewed me the other day for his internet radio doodad, which wasn't entirely fair because he sounds like a radio talk dude and I sound like a doofus (thanks for using your engineering magic to give me a hillbilly accent, Sean!). Anyway, it's up and running here. While you're there, check out his story (if you haven't already). He's definitely one of a kind.

  2. I love your accent, but I don't know if I can call you Master Jack. That's the name of the drain cleaner I buy from Ace Hardware.

  5. You didn't sound like a doofus. I just interviewed a guy on my show that was calling because his pet pig wondered off. He was a doofus. You're an intelligent, amazingly talented individual, with a solid head on his shoulders and a perfect ballance of what is right and good. Not one single doofus quality.

Oh Jack---you are awesomeeee my friend. (I said that last thing there with my "radio voice." Which is my normal voice without my usual lazy speech habits.

It was a fantastic interview--You did so well, and what a wonderful way for people to get to know you just a little better!! I can't thank you enough---Couldn't think of anyone else I would want to be my first. Interview. On my blog.

    My best always,
    Sean

  8. Nobody can sound fat to me. I'm deaf!! ;) And I am sure you sounded good-- like a real person, not a character that Sean has to be in.

  11. Loved every minute of it! I thought you sounded sensible and humble. Can't argue with over 65 lbs lost and bringing much needed humor and inspiration to all of us out here in wt loss blogland.

  18. I enjoyed it so much that I think you should do some audioblogging every now and then. Perhaps do some readings of your favorite posts, or take a poll and let your readers decide. I think if you read one of your paraodys - OMG - just thinking about it makes me giggle! Plus I have a thing for southern drawls.

  20. I just had the chance to listen to the interview this weekend. I was trying to place the accent. . . (I've got one too).

I want to be noted as one of the people who DID comment on the Raven poem. I read it to everyone I could get to listen--called both my parents, read it to my husband, read it to my sister. I was thoroughly impressed and Wow'd. (and I haven't stopped)
