"This Scale Was Meant For Weighin'" Giveaway

The people at EatSmart sent something to me.
A brand new digital scale for me to review.
I’ve been weighin’ more than I’ve usually been a weighin’,
And that’s why I’m in such a horrible mood.

This scale was made for weighing, and that’s just what it’ll do
.
Unfortunately it said my weight was two hundred twenty-two.

I keep gaining, when I oughta be losin’,
But I guess that ain’t this fancy new scale’s fault
.
It’s got EatSmart “Step-On™” technology,
But that won’t bring this gainin’ to a halt.

This scale was made for weighing, and that’s just what it’ll do
.
If it had given me a loss, this’d be a much better review.

A high-quality tempered glass platform,
With workmanship that's undisputed.
Just step on for an instant measurement.
(The batteries are even included!)

This scale was made for weighing, and that’s just what it’ll do.

If you’d like to win one, well I'd like to give one to you...

  2. If I won, I'd have THREE scales in my house...one in my bathroom, one in the kitchen, and this one would go upstairs! I'm burning extra calories JUST thinking about the number of times I could weigh myself every day.

  3. hmmm...I don't do twitter either! But I'll give it a try anyway!

  5. My scale broke 3 weeks ago. It's the 3rd one this year, I'm so tired of cheaply made yet expensive machines!

    Following on both now :)

  6. I'd love me a new scale ... this one that I use is Hubby's. Half the time it works but the other half, I have to keep getting on and off and on and off to get it to zero out. It's really irritating!

Hey Jack! Where's my cheese!?! Vee (VelVEEta) at http://veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com

  20. Following them on Twitter as @KeepRealSimple. Would love a new scale to see Onederland on next year! Have dropped from 270 to 209 this year and almost there.

As for your weight gain...time to get it in gear Jack! You can't ride two horses with one ass....time to get on the weight loss horse!

  24. Following on Twitter and Liking them on Facebook.

In desperate need of a new scale since I broke..erm...my cat broke my last one that I had for 5 years. ;)

  25. I really want the scale that weighs the kitchen. They DO make one of those, right?
My scale (for people weighing) broke. Which means the only way to weigh anyone here is with Wii Fit. And I'm sick of how they call me fat everytime, so I could use this one. ;)

  26. Definately count me in. My aging scale is so whacked out. Seriously...it isn't humanly possible to gain 11 pounds in one day, then magically lose it - plus three extra pounds - the next.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Following on Twitter,too!

    ReplyDelete
  28. AND Facebook, I think. I signed up via the smartphone app, and it can be quirky sometimes.

  29. I was just telling hubby this morning that I need a new scale because I think mine is broke. It's not moving. So please enter me in the giveaway.

  30. Good Lord man, the last thing I need is another scale, lol....the one I've already got is a big enough bitch as it is. ;)

  31. Great song!! I'd love to win this scale.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sweet! My current scale is mean - I need a new one!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Do not add me to the contest, but I really do like this scale. It doesn't give me 500 different weights like my old one did. I can stand on it once and trust it's right. Now this song is going to be stuck in my head!

    ReplyDelete
  34. OH! Pick me pick me! My scale doesn't know sh*t about accurate weights.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I need that scale Jack! I've been checking new ones out for a month now and was waiting for the Christmas rush (through my bank account) to be over!

    I liked on FB (Samantha M. violettfem(at)yahoo.com

and I followed on Twitter @violettfem

Thanks for the opportunity and the rocking retro Nancy Sinatra tune :)

  36. I did all your demands (except I gotta do the twitter part still) so count me in. I guess I could leave a bazillion comments down here, but I'm just too lazy for that.
Normally, I don't negotiate with terrorists, especially when there's a scale involved. But only for you, Jack...

    ReplyDelete
  37. i hope i win!! a new scale would be cool (even though i've been avoiding my own old one)!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Funny how people just skimmed through and think this is a personal scale... This is a FOOD SCALE people!

    ReplyDelete
  39. That is a lot of work for a scale. BUT... I friended them up of FB!

    Thanks Jack!!

  40. I hate that my first comment is because I want something! I have been reading you for a while and appreciate your funny, inspiring posts.

  41. Don't think the scale wants to come all the way to NZ so I'll continue with the one I have.

    Fabulous legs. Fabulous legs.

Oh said it twice. Well three times is better.

    Fabulous legs.

  42. Song totally cracked me up! One of my favourites!

  43. I'd like a new scale. As long as it agrees with, or weighs 'less' than my current scale!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I can't believe I just posted my name spelled wrong. Let's try this again. I followed, I tweeted, and would love a new accurate scale for Casa McBody! Please.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Is there a weight limit on that tempered glass?

    Just checkin'.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I could use a new scale since the one that I have is old and lies.

    ReplyDelete
  47. My scale hates me. Maybe this new scale and I could have a better relationship :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thanks for the giveaway Jack (and Eatsmart!) I haven't had a scale in years - usually go by the way my clothes feel and how comfortable I am when running.... that being said, it would be neat to see how much I actually weigh.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'm using an old dial scale, and having been craving a new scale. It's either the scale or I'll eat some cookies. Save the cookies!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I liked, I'm following, and I want a scale that doesn't suck too!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Pick me! :) I would use it for our TOPS chapter. Our scales only go up to 350 and we have to use a counterweight to make it go higher for some of our members (that is such a headache). I noticed this scale goes to 400. I want it!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I am in! It would be nice to not have to use a scale from the last century that shows a different weight each time I stand on it. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Don't need to enter me since I actually have this scale, and in fact I also have one to giveaway so if any of your readers want to get another chance then stop on by my place I am giving one away on Wednesday night.

    Win a bathroom scale
